Happy Customers!

“I went to the East side store early Saturday morning. I would like to tell you that I was assisted by a lady named Pam. She went out of her way to help me. She was very helpful, with a smile and pleasant attitude. You are lucky to have such a good employee. 5/25/13”

“Hi Ziedlers,

I just wanted to say thanks for being such a reliable and great service.

I grew up in Evansville and went to North. Your petunia flower baskets have made my Mom’s day on Mother’s Day for the past three years, and she just retired and sent her flowers. My other half and I live in London, and it’s great to be able to arrange things online in minutes, with an address book and make payment on an international card. And she always says they look amazing.

Modern, quality, local service. That’s what’s made me come back to you every time. Very appreciated.

All the best
Ben”

Fun with Flowers

IMG_2329Have you ever tried the experiment with water and food dye being drawn into a flower stem? Recently, the 4th grade class at Delaware Elementary School did just that. They used white carnations from Zeidler’s Flowers and seems they really enjoyed the results. This photo is a collection of the custom made, hand written thank you notes we received from the class. Thanks to Ms. Williams and her class for taking time to convey such a special thanks!

Cactus Gardens

cacti turtle smaller

Look what we found in the Garden Shop today.  A cute little turtle filled with cacti, or succullents!

Succulents you ask?  Here’s an abbreviated definition from Concise Encyclopedia.

Any plant with fleshy, thick tissues adapted to water storage. Some succulents (e.g., the cactus) store water only in the stem and have no leaves or very small leaves; others (e.g., agaves) store water mainly in the leaves.

Come see us if you’re interested in a cactus garden.  they’re cute and prickly, easy to care for and tolerant of  people without a green thumb.  They would also make a great Father’s Day Gift.  Lots of sizes, all prices…there’s something for everyone!

Zeidler’s Plant Center open for the season

This has certainly been an interesting Spring in Evansville.  In spite of the on again off again Spring days, our plant center is fully stocked with blooms in every color.  Stop in and shop, then be prepared for that next 70 degree, sunny day.  The plant center is located at the corner of Fulton and Keller streets, across from the Fulton Avenue retail entrance.  You’ll find annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, patio gardens and more!

Easter Friends

DSC00201c_1024Just looking at this photo makes me smile.  Cute, cuddly bears all dressed for Easter on Sunday.  Here at Zeidler’s Flowers we have lots of pretty things to celebrate this blessed holiday.  Easter Lilies, blooming hydrangeas, colorful centerpieces…something that’s just right to add to your Easter celebration.  Happy Easter!

Fun at the Courier Press Wedding & Prom Showcase

The annual Wedding & Prom Showcase was held Sunday, January 6th at The Centre.  We love being a part of it, both as the floral sponsor for the show, and getting to meet so many future brides.  We hope you had a chance to stop by and visit our booth.  We had a nice selection of bridal bouquets in fresh and silk, along with some rental items on display.  Our three wedding designers are Randi Gehlhausen, Elizabeth Odom, and Mike Dixon.  We love weddings and look forward to the chance to meet with many of the 2013 – 2014 brides to be.  Here are a few of our favorite photos.
