Here Birdie, Birdie…..!! We’re making bird calls at Zeidler’s but not for the ones with wings! In our case it’s for our huge Bird of Paradise plant “now in bloom” in our conservatory at our Fulton Ave. location in Evansville. This is a rare site indeed. This once small 10″ plant was put by our waterfall for display a… few years back. When we went to move it, we soon learned that it was going to be a permanent fixture since it rooted itself into the gravel pond. This unique tropical plant makes it’s native home in gorgeous tropical settings and loves the hot and humid. Well, Fulton Avenue isn’t Maui, but walk inside our greenhouses on a cold day and you might just think you’re there. Come on in to see our “blooming birdie”!
