Fall’s iconic flower the mum has arrived on our doorsteps. It’s swinging from baskets over our front porches and dressing up our Fall festivals, along with haystacks and pumpkins. We at Zeidler’s Flowers are always delighted to see November’s bloom and wouldn’t complain if every doorstep within a ten-mile radius of Evansville was covered in them. To that end, we’ve put the humble mum into many of our Fall designs. Harvest-hued and approachable, mums never fail to keep things bright even as shorter days are coming.

This is the classic way to adorn your space with mums. Get a container heaped with blooms, so that even as you carry it from our shop to your car, you can feel the hundreds of stalks heaving along with you. Our aptly-named Harvest Mum is of course in the perfect color range, and we’ve added Fall leaves and a lotus pod to enhance the effect. This will look great nestled next to your pumpkins.

If you’ve got a dark, dreary space to cheer up, choose our Harvest Double Mum (just make sure the spot gets at least five hours of some sunlight each day). This is what we think of when we think of classic mum: impossibly golden blooms contrasting against dark green stalks as if to remind us that Spring and Summer will come again.
