It’s almost Veterans Day, an occasion we’ve celebrated in some form or another since 1919, when it was called “Armistice Day” and intended to commemorate the end of WWI the year before. Over the years, it evolved into what it is now, a time to honor our U.S. military vets for their service and sacrifice.
