4 Ways To Make The Most of Grandparents Day

Grandparents Day is quickly approaching! Celebrated in September on the first Sunday after Labor Day, it’s a great opportunity to teach kids how amazing their grandparents are. Have children choose beautiful floral bouquets, a lovely plant design or another special gift to send to grandparents on this special day. The floral designers at Zeidler’s Flowers are happy to deliver your special selection anywhere within the Evansville area, including Braun’s Nursing Home, Golden Living Center in Woodbridge, Parkview Care Center, Good Samaritan Home, University Nursing and Rehabilitation. We are also happy to deliver to Heritage Center, North Park Nursing Center, West River Health Campus, Atria Assisted Living Facility, Evansville Protestant Home, and North River Health Campus. Kids will love celebrating their grandparents and grandparents will thrill at being remembered on their special day. Here are some ways to make the most of time together between kids and Grands.

Send Lovely Blooms

Grandma and grandpa will be delighted by our Cheery Kalanchoe, an adorable birdhouse housing a blooming kalanchoe plant with a  decorative butterfly perched on top. Our Polka Dots and Posies bouquet is so sweet and versatile, and comes in a variety of colors. Here is our purple version with lavender daisies and soft pink spray roses arranged in a cylinder vase with a purple polka dot ribbon. The deluxe version adds 3 lavender roses! For a long-lasting plant design, choose our Basket of Sunshine. A kalanchoe plant, african violet, chrysanthemum and green plant are combined in this handled basket adorned with curly ting ting and decorative butterflies to add the finishing touch. What a wonderful way to send sunshine and smiles!

Photo Session

Organize a photo session for grandparents and grandkids. Not only will they have a delightful time posing for pictures, but the resulting photos will bring smiles to the entire family.

A cooking day between grands and kids can only result in fun, delicious memories. Let kids learn a thing or two in the kitchen from grandparents. They may even discover the secret recipe for grandpa‘s famous chili!

Creating a craft together is a wonderful chance for kids and grands to learn more about each other, as well as spend time together. Grandparents can teach grandkids a new skill and kids will love the time they get with their grandparents.

Honor grandparents for everything they are and show them how valuable they are to your family when you have grandchildren send beautiful flowers, plants, or gifts and spend time with their grandparents.
