It’s October, and Halloween will soon be sneaking up to scare us! Lots of people are busy making preparations for the holiday by stocking up on candy, decorating their front yards to welcome trick-or-treaters, and picking out costumes for the big night. Others have already started the celebration with scary movie marathons, costume parties, and pumpkin carving. Our Favorite Flowers, Designs, and Themes for Halloween Arrangements

Color can make or break a Halloween arrangement. The best Halloween floral designs use the fun, festive colors of the season like black, orange, purple, green, and white in ghostly designs. We also love to incorporate the colors of autumn in slightly more elegant seasonal designs, using hues of orange, yellow, red, burgundy, gold, copper, and bronze.

Orange roses make a great statement in a Halloween arrangement. They pair well with blooms in other Halloween colors, like purple and green. Plus, they’re beautiful and elegant. Chrysanthemums

Cheerful chrysanthemums are Halloween’s favorite flower. They’re in-season during this time of year, so potted varieties will be in bloom for a long time. Mums come in all sorts of fun colors and varieties that are perfect for Halloween floral designs. We particular love the green spider chrysanthemums featured alongside orange carnations and boo-tiful sparkling bat accents in our Jack-O’-Lantern arrangement.

Not only are these flowers slime-green, but they’re also half of the iconic “trick or treat,” making them pretty spot-on for Halloween floral arrangements. Green trick looks eerie and interesting, too. These odd pom-pom like blooms add a strangely fuzzy texture to a Halloween arrangement. Perfect for a witch’s brew or to fill in an arrangement with bright colors.
